In this insanely crazy midwest weather we have been having throughout April, mother nature decided to take a break and give us an almost 80 degree day with sunshine! Their wedding day couldn’t have been the more opposite. It was one of the coldest days and these two still insisted on no jackets. It ended up being New Years Day when they were in town visiting family. Kaytlynn and Victor ended up booking me last minute and we squeezed their engagement session in. Even though they were hundreds of miles from home they brought home to them. The bathrooms are also modern and there are two male and two female which is a big plus since a lot of barn venues have outdated bathrooms and only one stall.

There was so much room for our guests to have all their tables and a full dance floor. The barn also has heating and cooling which eased my nerves because with the rain was supposed to be some cool weather so Aimee mentioned they’d turn the heat on early so guests would be comfortable. I was sad about the possibility of rain because the grounds are so gorgeous, but I was okay knowing that the barn itself was stunning and there would still be great photos. It ended up clearing up so we were still able to have a fire, but she assured me that if it was raining she’d refund the deposit for the fire. When we arrived she even cleared out the middle passage way for an additional photo spot. We were supposed to have rain on our wedding day and Aimee called me to calm my nerves and provided all solutions they have for rainy days such as using the 3rd floor of the barn for photos. The grounds are incredibly, it truly is a 360 degree view no matter what way you look. She was very accommodating and even let us take our engagement photos there.
